This dry red wine from the famous red wine region Burgenland in Austria was aged 15 months in small oak barriques and is a 100% native Zweigelt. Its noble style and aromatics of juicy blackberry, cherry, vanilla, and nougat combine harmoniously with fine exotic wood spices, rosemary, and black tea. It's very alive, bursting with elegance, and a full body that red wine drinkers adore. Vineyard: Neckenmarkter Hochberg | Central Burgenland 100% Zweigelt (Austrian Native Varietal) 50 Year Old Vines that reach the water table. This is not a white-labeled wine. It is a family owned winery that has been successful at creating super premium wine in Austria for over 25 years. When the owner Katja was pregnant, she insisted they try to de-alcoholize their vanguard Signo Leonis 98pt wine to see if starting with a super premium wine would make the difference. That it did! Coupled with the best de-alc machines in Germany and the latest, patented aroma capture technology, they cracked the NA Red Wine code!
